Make yourself a dress. Not just any dress, but an advanced level dress that will impress everyone! This is seamstress level sewing. You choose your pattern- (here are a few suggestions) Upton, Lenox, Holyoke, Kalle, Alder, Claudette, Myrna, or Penny dress patterns. Skills covered in this class include: darts, gathers, pleats, zippers, buttonholes, collars, yokes, facings, linings, set-in sleeves, seam finishes, and hemming.
Materials: A materials list will be emailed to you prior to class.
You must purchase, download, and print out the pdf pattern before class. Please have the printed pattern cut out & taped together.
(Optional) We recommend having your pattern printed out in large format by PDF Plotting
Skill Level: Intermediate/ Advanced
Prerequisites: Sewing 101, Serger 101, or entire Sewing Skills series. Must be comfortable using a rotary cutter and have previously completed a multi-piece commercial pattern project.
Sessions: This is a weekend intensive sewing workshop. Due to the complexity of this sewing project and the condensed nature of the class, all participants MUST arrive with their paper pattern pieces already cut out.
