Serger 101- May

Learn how to use a serger  to give your projects a finished and professional look.  This class covers threading the machine, settings, adjusting tensions, and common applications.

Materials: All materials included.

Please let us know during registration if you are brining your own Serger or using one of ours.

Skill Level: Beginner

Prerequisites: Sewing 101 or equivalent experience.

Sessions: This class meets on Thursday, May 4 & 11, 7:00pm – 9:00pm.

Handcraft Workshop offers a wide variety of kid and adult sewing classes.  From the very beginner to the very advanced, there’s a class for everybody!If you’re a beginner or haven’t sewn awhile in need a refresher, Sewing 101 is the perfect class for you.  From there, you’ll find project based classes of varying skill levels, skill classes that focus on particular techniques, serger classes, and more.  Experienced sewist can start with a project class that interests them and matches their skill level.

Skill Level Recommendations

Newbie: No experience necessary
Beginner: Taken Sewing 101 or equivalent
Intermediate: Ready for some serious sewing
Advanced: Could teach a class or two!

Kids classes are intended for students aged 8-15.  Adult classes are intended for students aged 16+.
